Engineers and Architects Needed

We are in need of a drainage engineer, and an architect with knowledge in cement block buildings to help us with the correct evaluation of this project. Solutions needed to be addressed, as to street drainage, septic system, and construction with cement block. We are asking for assistance and need help with these areas. Our family met Melissa Klassen in Manual Antonio, Costa Rica last year 2008. Her expertise is in the field of property management, CR. Traveling with her husband Kevin from Canada to relocate in Costa Rica was a life changing experience. I admire the quality in them to set up their life style in such a gorgeous place and then the dedication of their service to support the local ticos above themselves. March of this year, 2009 , I called upon her to find us a place to retreat from the hustle of our everyday life style in the US. With her property management skills, (tropicalsunvillas.com) she placed our family in the most gorgeous setting in Manual Antonio, CR. Melissa helped us identify the needy local town people and with the help of her staff and friends and we were able to distribute our humanitarian supplies to the school , the flooding families, and the retirement center in the area of Inmaculada, Quepos, Costa Rica. Our family created a bond with Melissa and set forth to organize a group both in the US, and Costa Rica to help families in need. Our group is working on rebuilding or relocating a family in the flooding area of Inmaculada.

Lynn was invited to speak with the St. George Rotary Club of Dixie Sunrise, in St George, Utah, Sept 3, 2009. He shared his family experiences over the last 20 years, in the beautiful county of Costa Rica. It began with the vacation spots, the surfing camps, the zip lines and tree climbs and then the problems that a small support community town of Inmaculada, Quepos, Costa Rica was dealing with. It was a horrifying site to see a beautiful county with major flooding occurring each year at this time. The rainy season floods this area. Some of the tico's have to relocate, out of their casita, rent a place until the water recedes. This is something that boggled his mind but the local people of Inmaculada seems to just live with this yearly situation. When the flooding occurs, the septic tanks over flow and contaminates the areas ground and water table. Lynn explained that he has established a team of Quepos and Manual Antonio residences which come from many countries to help facilitate the rebuilding of foundations and structures to help elevate this problem. It is a great project to teach and to serve, the Rotary slogan Service Above Self . It is just one of the latest projects that he has organized and now with the help of all, we can achieve the goals of Service above Self .
